by A NEW family indoor golf center has officially launched in Tredegar.
“The Drop Zone Golf,” which opened on December 2, is a state-of-the-art facility that offers year-round entertainment with golf simulators, a full-size putting area and a fully stocked golf shop, making in fact the first of its kind in Wales.
The project was founded by keen golfers Christian Lee Prosser and Gareth James, as well as respected former golf professional Craig Evans.
The facility features three advanced golf simulators, including a VIP bay for club fittings, lessons and gapping sessions.
Guests can also enjoy a bar and kitchen offering hot and cold refreshments.
The project is supported by Blaenau Gwent Council’s Business & Innovation team, who have provided start-up support including a Business Development Grant and advice through a Business Facilitation Scheme.
Christian and Gareth praised the team’s support throughout the process.
“We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from the Business & Innovation team at Blaenau Gwent,” said Gareth James, co-owner of The Drop Zone Golf.
“This trip would not have been possible without the help of the team, and the encouragement from our family and friends has been invaluable.”
